Merry Christmas!

We had a very Merry Christmas this year!  As you can see Santa spoiled the kiddos again this year!  That Santa, He is such a giving Old Man! (And Handsome too!)
We got to visit Santa and Mrs Clause at Sundance.  (Mommy's Work)

Handsome Landen

Mr and Mrs Clause had there naughty and nice book and luckily the boys found each of there names on the nice list!  I was a little worried!
It was a Lego/Star Wars Christmas for Hayden

New sippy cups!  Bryn was so excited!

Oh Boy!  Star Wars!
Cute pink Kitchen!  Maybe she will learn how to cook since her Mommy doesn't know how!

Skylanders for the Wii!  Yay!

Bryn loves her Barbie "Four Wheel" from Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa gave Hayden a motorized scooter!  We were so excited we all had to go outside while the Boys and Bryn tested out their new toys!  This was a good year for NOT having a "white Christmas"!!

Shaun and Jenna gave Grandma and Grandpa a two seater zero gravity chair for camping!  Look how cute they are!

Toebell is Back!!

We were so lucky to have have our favorite little Elf visit us again this year (2011)!  We had been wondering if Toebell would be back or not and luckily he did!!

We enjoyed having Toebell this year as he was full of mischief!  Here are a few of the sneaky little things he did during his visit.

Tobell arrived  in the our letters to Santa stocking along with a letter from Santa and a special surprise gift for both Hayden and Bryn!

One night we arrived home to Toebell greeting us as he was hanging upside down from our kitchen light!

One morning decided to take a marshmallow bath in our bathroom sink!  And boy did he make a mess!

Then he decided to take a nap in Bubba's bed and in doing so he decided to take some marshmallows with him!  Silly Elf!

Toebell also did something extra nice this year.  He brought us a new book!

We were so happy Toebell chose our family to watch over during the holiday season!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas eve was super fun this year! We spend it with my parents and my Grandma Darlene with a nice dinner and that's when we get to open our Christmas jammies. This year my Mom decided that the jammies didn't need to be so Christmasy so she did something a little different. The guys got like comfy pants and t-shirts and the girls got fancy animal print jammies. The boys got pirate ones but of course the princess got special Christmas jammies that were pink with Santa's all over them.

We also had another surprise... Santa had made a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's a little early.
Underneath the tree was full of presents for the kids. But there was a special stipulation for these gifts. All these gifts were to stay at Grandma's. They were for the Boys and Brynlee but Santa thought that they needed some new toys to play with at Grandma's house. At first they had a hard time understanding that concept but it sure makes it nice when we go to Grandma and Grandpa's that they already have alot of fun new toys to play.

Brynlee got a doll house with barbies to fill it with and the boys got Star Wars stuff and some Toy Story 3 Stuff.

Brynlee got an extra special gift on her Christmas Eve from her Grandma and Grandpa.
Her very first bike!!
When we put her in it for the first time, she had this look on her face like she was such a big girl. She was trying not to smile. She just looked at us so grown up like she was so cool riding her new bike. It was priceless!

I finally caught a smile!

Me and my Daddy-o! Boy, I sure do Love this Man!!

Candy Train Makin' Fun

It has been another year of fun making candy trains and this year we tried our very first gingerbread house. Hayden made sure I knew that this year he was big enough to make his train all by himself. And that he did! He had a super yummy time making his train just perfect! (As you can see below!)

The glue (frosting) is his favorite part! It was scoopfuls after scoopfuls of yummy frosting! He is so much like his Mommy!

Here are all of Hayden's little buddies!
Mason, Landen, Trevor, Hayden, & Loftin
These boys are all about the same age.
Aren't they all so handsome!

The gingerbread house wasn't as easy to make but I think the boys still had fun!

We Luv Santa!

We went to see Santa this year at our most favorite photographers house, Heather Bridge. This is the first time Brynlee meeting Santa. She didn't quite know what to think of this jolly old man. She would look up at him and turn to me and start crying then look at him again. All in all she did pretty good and we were even able to get her to crack a little smile.

Hayden has been excited to see Santa until we were actually there. At first he was being shy and wouldn't even stand by Santa unless I was right there. Then he loosened up and was able to tell Santa everything on his list. In fact, he loosened up to much that we couldn't get him to stop talking. He was literally still talking to Heather on our way to the car. She had to practically just shut her front door on us. That boy can talk!!!

I sure hope that Hayden is on the nice list and that Santa brings everything he is asking for!

ToeBell Has Arrived!!!

Over the Thanksgiving weekend we decorated our house up for Christmas in hopes that maybe Toebell would come back to visit us again this year. And that's all it took!! The next morning, Hayden woke up to Toebell hanging out under the tree. Not only is he back to visit with us this year but he left Hayden and Brynlee an early Christmas present and a letter from Santa!

Nate and I were in the other room and we over heard Hayden talking to someone. That someone being Toebell. He was telling him how he loved him so much over and over again. Later, as I walked into the room where Hayden was I saw Toebell all wrapped up in a blanket laying on a pillow watching Hayden play the Wii. Hayden said, "Toebell is cold and he wants to take a nap.".

Our Elf on the Shelf, Toebell (as Hayden named him last year), has been the best little Elf ever and we are so excited he has come back to visit with us again this year! Even if he is a little stinker! (Hayden calls him that cause he is magic you know and he moves from place to place in our house.)

MMM! Toebell your yummy!

Merry Christmas!

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! It was a busy but yet not so busy holiday season. Since Hayden joined our family we have slowed down on the holiday hustle and bustle down a bit. Each year we do less and less running around and focus more on spending time at home and with my parents. Well on Christmas day anyway. The time leading up to that is always hustle and bustle!

Towbell the Elf must have reported to Santa that over all Hayden has been a very good boy this year. Hayden even noticed and said while he was opening presents Christmas morning "Santa sure likes me!". And since that morning Hayden has been on his best behavior. Towbell has now gone home to the North Pole with Santa and Hayden has realized how magical Towbell is and can't wait for him to come back to stay with us next year.

Of course we were all spoiled by Santa and my parents! A new gun for Daddy, a WII, Leapster, Bike, Scooter, Transformers, Games, Toys Galore, and one of my favorite parts...a new Canon Rebel camera for Mommy! Santa and my parents even made sure that our little princess was spoiled! Thanks Mom and Dad! We have always had great memories of Christmas and now I am so happy that we can make new memories with our little ones! You are the best Mom and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa ever! We love you!

Santa Came!! And it looked like he enjoyed his sugar cookies with his ice tea and milk! That is what Hayden decided we needed to leave for Santa.

Two of Hayden's many many gifts from his Grandma and Grandpa! This boy is spoiled!

This was a week before Christmas and by this time Hayden was not shy at all to sit on Santa's lap!

Our Elf Named Towbell

We have had a surprise visitor come to Grandma and Grandpa’s over the past weekend. It was Santa! Although he was surely quick and sneaky and we didn’t get to see him, he left a present under the tree for each of the boys! I thought I seen him so I called the boys to come see if they can see Santa driving away in his sleigh and Hayden was sure he could!

The boys opened their present and wasn’t too sure about it. Santa had come and left them each one of his Elves. They came in a shelf box with a book to tell us why he was sent to us from Santa. We read the story and found out that our new little elf buddy is to watch over Hayden during the day and when he goes to sleep at night he heads back to the North Pole to give Santa a naughty or nice report. Then he returns to our house before Hayden wakes up. We got to name our Elf and Hayden named him Towbell. I have no idea where it came from but it was the first thing he mentioned when we asked what he wanted to name his Elf. Landen named his Leonardo. Now we know where that one came from. That boy loves the Ninja Turtles!

The first night that we had Towbell, we set him on Hayden’s night stand right next to his bed. When he woke up Towbell was gone. So we searched the house for him and found him in the living room on the sofa table. Hayden has asked me if he had batteries so he could walk but I explained to him that this little Elf is a special magic Elf sent from Santa so he doesn’t need any batteries.

The next night came and Hayden had asked Nate to hold Towbell while they slept so he couldn’t get away. (Nate sleeps with Hayden until he falls asleep but more often than not he ends up in there the entire night.) Even though Daddy held him, Towbell still disappeared and went back to the North Pole. When we woke up Hayden thought for sure there was no way Towbell could have went anywhere so he was searching his blankets and all around his bed but there was no sign of Towbell. I was afraid Towbell didn’t make it back because Hayden has been a little on the naughty side but sure enough he did make it back and was sitting on top of Hayden’s coat that was hanging on the railing. Hayden found him and the look on his face was so hilarious. He just glared at Towbell like Towbell was the naughty one! It was so funny!! So before we left the house for the day Hayden decided he better put Towbell back in his box and he tied his legs up with the red twisty ties that he was originally attached to the box with.
This has been the most fun entertaining thing for all of us this holiday season! To see Hayden’s face as he is trying to figure things out is just priceless! I hope that this little Elf of ours keeps the holiday spirit in our home for years to come!

Candy Trains Part 2 & 3

We had a great weekend full of candy train making! Our second session was with Hayden's little buddies. Travor, Loftin, and Mason. Landen wasn't able to make for this session until later but I think he was ok with that cause he doesn't really care to do these kind of things. He just wants to play and play and play!!!

Here is a look at Hayden with his second candy train!

Loftin and Hayden

Our last session was with some cousins of ours. The last few youngster cousins that we have left in our family. Everyone is growing up way too fast! By this round I was tired of making candy trains or rather of seeing and eating the candy so I wasn't present much for this session. Grandma talked Landen in making another train and Hayden made one for his baby sister (whom isn't here yet) all by himself. I didn't get a picture of this one though. But he did a pretty good dang job. It is fun to see all the different imaginations that everyone has. I was so proud of Hayden for wanting to include his little sister on this very fun tradition!
