Halloween 2010 - Preschool Style!

Hayden had a fun Halloween celebration at preschool this year. They did such a cute program with some cute Halloween songs that Hayden has been singing all month long. In fact, he had the whole family singing the songs!! "I'm a mean old Witch with a hat... And I ride on my broom with my cat..." Those are the words that were mostly hollered out at home as we were playing!! Silly Us!!

The cute Kiddos followed up the singing with a little Halloween parade and some Monster Mashing! It was a cute program that we have enjoyed watching the past two years at Aunt Sand's Preschool and I think that Hayden has enjoyed all the fun Halloween activities he has done there too!! We couldn't have asked for a better Preschool/Teacher.

This was Brynlee's 1st Halloween and she was the cutest little bug ever! Hayden is getting so big. He wanted to be something scary and was picking out some crazy costumes but I figured I still have a little time that I can still persuade him on picking something that I want him to be. I was even going as far as spiderman and crazy characters like that but he wanted nothing to do with them. You know me, I'm not crazy about the whole character thing either. But we had to come up with something, so we, together, decided on this Knight costume. It was kind of scary but still little boy cute! I am afraid this will be my last year that I will be able to persuade him into something cutesy little boyish. After all, he will soon be turning 5!!!

Fall Fun!

We made a trip to Wheeler Farm over the past weekend with our some of our little friends and the kids had so much fun! We went on a wagon ride, went through a corn/hay maze, and picked out our own pumpkins at the end. Fall is so much fun! We love it!!

Aunt Debbie thinks Brynlee is part lizard! She has constantly got her tongue out. She moves it in and out just like a snake or lizard does. Maybe she is part reptile?!

Oh how I love this little lizard of mine!!!

Daddy's Girl?!

Daddy's Girl Huh? I beg to differ. Brynee Bug is TOTALLY a Mommy's Girl!!! It doesn't matter who has her or what she is doing she will always put her arms for her Mommy or be watching my every move. And, she totally has her Mommy wrapped tight around her pretty little finger! But dang she looks so cute whether she is Mommy's or Daddy's little Girl!!

Bathing Beauty Bryn!

My oh My!! I think it's time that Bryn moves into the big girl bath tub. She is almost out grown her cute pink baby bath tub! Gosh how timne flies! Brynlee has always loved to take baths. Now that she can sit up by her self she loves to put her hands in the running water and try to grab it. It's so fun to watch her as she is growing and learning!

Brynlee.....6 Months Old!

My Brynee Bug is 6 months old!! She is growing so fast and getting so smart. It won't be long and she will be crawling. She is all over the place and even gets up on her hands and knees like she wants to take right off but she hasn't quite figured that part out yet. Within the past month Brynlee has learned so much. She now waves to us. It is the cutest little hand waving I have ever seen! She just doesn't seem big enough to do any of these things yet. My most favorite thing ever that she has learned is when she puts her arms out to me when she wants me to pick her up, AND......her little shyness (that she gets from me!). It is so super cute when I am holding her and someone new talks to her she gets so shy and puts her head down on my chest and gives this little innocent sweet smile. It melts my heart! She is pure sweetness!!!!

New things about Brynlee........

She now weighs 14.4lbs and is 26 inches long. That's 2 pounds and 2 inches in 2 months. I guess I was right on thinking she is petite! That puts her in the 25th percentile in her weight and 50th percentile in her height.

Brynlee has decided she likes a few new foods. I guess she might have been getting tired of eating sweet potatoes and pears everyday. She still hasn't taken to a whole lot of different flavors but I am sure she will over time. She now eats #2 baby food. She has added the following to her diet-Sweet Corn Casserole, Blueberries & Apples, Mango's, Oatmeal & Apples, Rice Cereal & Mixed Fruit. She is up to eating about 3 jars of food per day.
