Craft Day at The Peterson House! (well sorta)

As many of you know I am not so crafty! I wished I were but I just don't have it in me. Hayden's grandma Marsha sent Hayden home with a foam making kit type thing to make slippers. I thought Hayden would forget about it but he never did and we had to make them. I was so proud of myself because even though these things were the easiest and cheesiest things ever I was able to do it them with out Nate's help. I think was I more proud than Hayden.

Check out these bad boys!!

A Day WIth My Buddies!

A few weeks ago I had arranged for Hayden to spend the day with his buddies Trevor and Loftin while we went to work. Loftin's daddy gets to stay home with Loftin and sometimes Trevor so I thought how much fun Hayden would have with the boys at Loftin's house and asked if he could come play one day.

Trevor's mom (Jen) had already planned to pick Hayden up before I left for work and she would take them to Loftin's. Hayden was having a hard time going. I guess because he it was out of is realm and our normal daily routine. He just wasn't quite sure what to think. Well, Jen wasn't the one to pick Hayden up, it was Travis, Trevor's dad. I thought for sure Hayden wouldn't go with him. Hayden is not around Travis a whole bunch so I thought he was going to freak out. And he slightly did and wasn't going to go. But Travis was able to talk to him and Trevor too and it made him more comfortable. It made me feel so bad when he left. I felt like he thought I was sending him some place like the doctor or something. I only set up this fun day for him.

I called Loftin's house several times worried about Hayden but he did great! Loftin's dad had all sorts of plans for the boys to swim and play outside but all Hayden wanted to play with is the big Geo Tracks set up that Loftin has.

Later that afternoon Jen picked up the boys and took them on a date. She took them to Jordan Landing to Cold Stone for ice cream and then over to the arcade to play games. He was gone all day and didn't get home until about 7:00 that night! We missed him so much! He had a great day with his buddies! Thanks Ratcliffe and Thompson Clan!!
