I Love This Guy!

Over this past weekend we went to Wendover to see Carlos Mencia. Nate got the tickets for Christmas from my Parents and I thought it would be a great time to have a night away together. I don't know if you know who Carlos is or not but he is hilarious! I don't really like to watch comedians but I love to watch Carlos. He is such a crack up! My cousin Greg got us watching him so him and his girlfriend Jen also went with us. We had some other friends that went to Wendover too but just didn't go to the show. But they now wished they did because that's all that we could talk about. The rest of the trip was fun too though. Just having a night to ourselves was much needed, to say the least! Even though we had a dive hole for a room. But what the heck, you don't spend much time in the stinkin room anyway!

Happy Valentines Day!

We had a fun Valentines Day. How about you?

Of course we had to work so I woke Hayden up a little early and gave him his Valentine. He wore his new Valentine shirt to Kathy's that said he was an Offical Heartbreaker. He is so dang cute! For dinner that night we had a picnic on our living room floor. Chicken nuggets and french fries are one of Haydens favorite meals. We followed that with chocolate peanut buter fondue. Hayden just thought this was the coolest thing ever as he loves to dip things. He's a dipper! It was a fun way to spend Valentines together as a family!

B-Best friend? I have a few of those- I would have to say of course my Hubby and my little man Hayden. I also have my Mom! She is definately my best friend. Then I have my friend Jen. So, I guess I have 4 best firends!

D-Day of choice? Saturday. That's when I get to sleep in and then go shopping. I think I shop every Saturday. Crazy!

H-Hometown? Magna always and proably forever. Unless my parents decide to move for some reason.

U-Unknown fact about me? This is crazy but I am kind of superstitious in a way. I feel like if I don't take the same route to and from work and to pick up Hayden something is going to go wrong that day. I even have to park in the same exact spot at work. It has gone as far as raining or snowing like crazy and I want to pull up to the door and park but I won't because that is not where my spot is that I park everyday. I even parked in a different spot and went to get out of the car and had to get back in and park where I normally do. The doc did tell me at one time that I am OCD. At first I thought no but sometimes I guess I am.

V-Vegetable? Veggie Schmeggie! I don't have a favorite as I am forced to eat those things to try and get off the fatty train I have been on for the last 2 years. Dang it's ruff!

W-Worst habit? Feeling like I have to plan everything. I need to relax and live a little freely.

X-X-ray or ultrasound? I like to have an ultrasound because it reminds me of when I was pregnant. AAAHHH babies!!

Y-Your favorite food? FOOD!! I love FOOD! Who doesnt like to eat!! But I would have to say Mexican is my favorite.

Yummy.. Valentine Cookies!

Hayden and Ma made Valentine cookies together this past weekend. Hayden is such a big help! He wants to be a very independent little boy. Anytime we are doing anything at the kitchen counter he pulls a chair over from the table or opens the dishwasher and stands on the door/lid or whatever it's called. He gets so upset if we don't let him do things on his own. He loved eating the dough which is funny because his Mommy loves it too! Terrible, I know! But it's so dang good!

Spring Fever

Wow! It was a heat wave this past weekend! 45 degrees, we were about ready to get our swimsuits on! No, not really but it was sure a nice weekend. Still chilly but at least it wasn't snowing and the wind wasn't blowing. Hayden got to play outside and I didn't have to worry about him being too cold. Hayden loves to be outside and it doesnt matter if it is snowing and 10 below zero. But sad for him his Mommy doesn't like to be out there in that coldness so he hasn't got out much this winter. Luckily his Bompa (my Dad) gives in and they hang out outside occasionaly. Usually on Fridays its Hayden day and everything they do is all about Hayden! Anyway, here are a few pics of Hayden having fun in the somewhat warm sun.

The Tumbling Trio...

The boys had their first day of tumbling and boy was it enteraining! Hayden and his two buds have the teacher all to themselves and it's probably a good thing because they were a handful. Hayden and Landen would have rather just ran around and play with the door than listen to the Teacher. Landen was game to try anything that the Teacher was trying to show him and he did a great job!! Hayden, however, just whined and was telling the Teacher no. Hayden was kind of in his own little world and wanted to do what he wanted which wasn't what everyone else was doing. Once we moved on to something new he would go over to what we just finished up and begged him to try. He just always wants to the be the boss. Am I going to be in trouble when it's time for preschool?! Oh Dear! Well, it's only our first class so I am hoping that he will get used to the idea before too long. Then there was Trevor. He is a shy little boy. At first he just sat by the door with his hands and face to the floor. He warmed up a bit but not enough to set the cool Nalgene water bottle down that his Mommy brought for him. He always has the coolest stuff! Anyway, all three of the boys did like one thing and that was the mini tramp. They get to jump on the mini trap if they do good in class.
