Summer Fun Playin' at the Park

Today we decided to pick up Landen and go to the park to play. Hayden has been a little bit bored being cooped up in the house all day with me and Bryn. Today wasn't the best of days to be outside with the high winds but the boys still managed to have fun!

One of Hayden's fears is the wind. I'm not sure why that it is? When we arrived at the park he was crying and whining saying, "let's get out of here Mom!!!". Finally, he figured it out that the wind would not hurt him. The park was busy with lots of kids so I think him seeing them he forgot about the wind.

With the park being so busy I got nervous. The entire time we were there I was worried that someone was going to steal one of the boys or Landen would wonder off with someone. Landen is such a friendly little boy that he would not be afraid but Hayden on the other wouldn't even think about it. It's just such a freaky thing to worry about but we all made it home safe and sound!

Hanging with Daddy and Grandpa...

Ah geeze! Here is another episode of what happens when Daddy and Grandpa are in charge! Hayden wanted to ride his bike but had left is bike helmet at home and we were at Grandpa's. So Grandpa to the rescue and found Uncle Shaun's old four wheeling helmet in the garage. I am very thankful that Nate does care and practices safety first! When I walked out of the house to leave and noticed Hayden I was dying laughing and Nate and my Dad that what's the big deal! Wouldn't you think what the heck and laugh if you drove by and seen this?! It was hilarious to me anyway! Once again, Boys will be Boys!!

Girly Girl!

Aunt Jenna and I took Bryn to get her ears pierced right at 2 months. She looks so dainty and pretty with her little earrings! It's funny to hear what everyone has to say about it. Some people can not believe I have already pierced her ears and others can't believe I have waited this long to finally get them done. For one, they have to be 2 months before they will pierce them. And secondly, it's no one else's decision but ours. I have no regrets on getting them done so far and Nate is also happy with the decision. She is our little girly girl princess that we have always dreamed of having!

It's Bumbo Time!

Bryn loves to sit up so she can see what's going on around her. She is a very nosey little girl! My Mom says that she is just like her mother. I guess that it is kind of true!! She is getting strong enough to hold her head up for longer periods of time so I decided it was time to get her new Bumbo chair out. She seems to like it for the few minutes that she sits in. Besides that she just looks so dang cute and like a big girl sitting in it! Look how cute!

In Daddy's Care...

Poor Bryn! This is what happens when Daddy gets her out of the bath. She is given a mohawk and then it drys that way. I had to take a picture the next morning because on top of the mohawk she also has her hair sticking up in the back like a peacock from sleeping. This little girl has some wild and crazy hair!!

The Zoo

We had a family outing to the Zoo! The boys loved it! Brynlee loved it too as long as we were carrying her! The baby elephant was my favorite part. She was so dang cute! Hayden's favorite part was the stinky reptile building. Him and his Dad love snakes! YUCKY!!!! They keep trying to talk me into getting one as a pet. Heck No!!!! We are a non reptile and rodent family. In fact we are a no pet sort of family. I know, I am a mean Mom!!!

No More Training Wheels?!

Nate is on mission to teach Hayden how to ride his bike without training wheels so that he can buy Hayden a little motorcycle. I'm not too sure about the motorcycle thing but the no training wheels I am on board! We tried and tried to get Hayden to ride without training wheels but he is still not too sure about the idea of it. So the training wheels went back on the bike, for now anyway!

T-Ball Season 2010

The T-Ball season is now over and we couldn't more sad. Hayden loved playing just as much as we loved watching him and the other kids play. Now that it's over we wonder what we have to look forward to during the week now?! We can't wait for next season already!

This is Hayden getting himself ready to go outside and ride his bike. His favorite thing to wear are the dang snow boots. AARRRRGGHHHH!! If I would let him he would wear them everyday even though it is soon to be 100 degrees outside. They are even getting to be too small but he still loves them anyway! Don't you just love the shorts that are too big and the coat that is too small?! Boys will be Boys!!!

2 Months Old!

Oh my how the time has flown by! Brynlee is now two months old! She is getting big and her little looks are changing everyday. At her 2 month Doctor visit she weighed 10 lbs. 4 oz. and was 22 inches long. She is in the 50% percentile which means she perfect in every way!! Her little features are so petite. We are not used to petite around this family. Hayden was 10 lbs. by his 4 week check up. He was our little butterball and Bryn is our little petite mama!



A little about Bryn-



Bryn's favorite part of the day is first thing in the morning when she wakes up. She is full of smiles! I have to say it's mine too! But wouldn't you be happy too if you got to sleep in your Mommy's arms all night?! (Bad Habit, I know!)


She loves to be carried around like a little rag doll! I feel like I am hurting her but she loves it and she will actually fall asleep.


Bryn's acquired nick names so far are- Bryn, Bryners, Bryn Bryn, Sister, Sister Sue, and Mama.


She still loves to be bundled up tight like a mummy. This helps he go right to sleep.


Not a binky fan. This is bad news for now but geat news later on when we won't have to take it away.


Bryn for sure knows her Mommy's number, She has me on speed dial!!! She knows what she needs to do to get my attention and quickly!
