Winter Time Blues

We have been so tired of being cooped up inside so I decided to have family night at the pool. It's been so cold outside we haven't even been able to play in the snow. I'm a wimp!
Nate wasn't too excited about the idea at first. He just thought it was so strange that we would be going swimming when it's so cold outside and he really doesn't care for the water either. But Hayden loves it so he decided to go and be a family man! We had a great time! I cant wait for warmer weather so we can play outside. There just isn't alot to do indoors. I think we all have the Disney movie "The Wild" memorized. We watch that at least two times every night. I don't know what it is about that movie but Hayden loves it!

Excellent Flick!

P.S. I Love You is the movie I saw over the weekend. It was so dang good I had to tell you all that you have to go see it if you haven't already. As some of you already know, I don't get out much to see movies. I have no one to go with. I had to twist my Mom's arm to get her to go with me! My friend Jamie recommended that I see this movie that it was so good and boy was she right! I cried several times throughout the movie but also laughed. It's just an all around good movie. It made me realize that life is just too short! Don't sweat the small stuff! It's a must see!
So if anyone wants to go let me know I would love to see it again!

New Years Eve

Oh brother! I'm still new at this blogging thing as you can tell. Should have posted this differently some how so Noon Years Eve came first. Oh well! I'm learning!

So, We finished ringing in the New Year at my Mom and Dads house. Just a little of Family and Friends in their PJ's! Since we have Hayden now it just wouldn't feel right ringing in the new year without him! Well.... we actually didn't make it to the new year. We only made until 10:00! Close enough! It works for the Peterson's!!

"Noon Years Eve"

We celebrated New Years Eve with the Boys at The Living Planet Aquarium. They had special activities happening that day just for kids. They called it "Noon Years Eve". It was the first time we had ever been there so I didn't really know what to expect but it was actually alot of fun. We got to see a real Nemo fish! Hayden has been addicted to fish since his birthday. Nate decided to buy him a fishing pole so we fish around the house daily! Anyway, Hayden was lovin this place until my Mom started to freak out at some yucky looking fish and then Hayden started to become scared. As you can see below..

It wasn't long and he was over being scared. We just let the boys play and it wasn't long before Landen found a friend that he was playing hide and seek with while he was screaming like a girl. He has this high pitched scream that he does that I think he got from the movie Monsters Inc.

Happy Birthday Hayden!

Hayden turned two on December 30th! Choo Choo's are one of his favorite things so that's what kind of birthday party he had. Everything has to be either a choo choo or a fire truck! He was so funny when we sang Happy Birthday to him. He was being kind of shy and kept smiling and saying no with is hands up to his mouth. He is such a funny little boy! I can't believe he is already two. Time flies! He is talking so good now and he is so dang smart. We cant pull any fast ones on him much anymore. Oh boy, it's time to get potty training. That's going to be our 2008 adventure. Hopefully it will be easy! If you have any suggestions on some potty training tips, let me know. We are gonna need it!!
