Bryn's First Haircut!

Brynlee got her first haircut a few weeks ago. We needed to get that baby stringy type hair off. Our cute friend Shyann was so good with her and made her look like a little princess. She cut the back into a little bob and kind of stacked it in the back. She just trimmed up the long top and made it look cute as ever! She looks like such a big little girl!

I love this picture! Look at that dimple! Thanks Jes for taking these pics for us!

Shyann was curling up her hair and it was adorable when she was all finished but the crazy Mom that I am I forgot to take a picture when she was all done. But she is still cute as ever!

Brynlee....11 Months Old!

Another month older! And growing so fast! She is changing so much! Brynlee is still a Mommy’s Girl however she is starting to grow very fond of her Daddy. She loves to be in her Daddy’s arms and lay on put her head down on his chest and fall asleep. She is just a little love muffin!

New Things About Bryn…..

She has TWO teeth now! They are side by side on the bottom right in the middle. It is so cute! I think that might be it for now as there are no signs of any others coming in right now.

She is so close to walking! She will stand on her own and she has taken a step or two by herself.

We have a big girl on our hands… Bryn is in a big girl car seat! I jumped the gun a little bit but not by much. I was done hauling her around in that infant seat. My heck her legs were hanging way over and she was all scrunched up when I put her in the car. So I don’t feel so guilty for moving her into the big girl seat a little sooner that we should. She loves it! Such a big girl!

Bryn is still a picky little eater. There aren’t too many things that I can get her to eat but right now I think her favorite thing is fresh strawberries. We have also been trying to get her to drink from a sippy cup. We have been trying this for a few months now and trying to get the perfect cup that she likes to use. We finally found one! I am excited about the sippy cups cause they are so cute and girly! Her bottles were just plain so I have been going crazy over sippy cups. She has cute ones with Princesses, Minnie Mouse and cute flowers. Just too cute!

Other than all of this, Bryn is gearing up for her big 1st birthday! Well, she might not know that it’s coming but her Mommy is sure getting excited about it! She has been worrying and working real hard to make sure this day is just perfect!! Can’t wait!

I think she is out growing her infant car seat! What do you think?

These Shoes Were Made For Walkin'

Bryn got her first pair of real tennis shoes! No more crib shoes (as they call them)! She is barely fitting into big girl shoes and her first pair are these cute Nike's. She loves to wear them. I think that it helps her feel more secure about walking. Hopefully that is coming real soon!

Dang! Is she cute or what?!

Happy ST. Patty's Day!

The little Leprechauns came to visit again this year leaving Hayden some gold coins. And that's not all...those sneaky little fellas also left our gallon of milk green and left green pop rocks candy in his shoes. Hayden told me that the Leprechauns are invisible and they were still here so he asked them if they would bring more gold coins while he was gone to school. Well, those silly little guys did and left them all over the house for Hayden to find.

Maybe the Leprechauns were so good to him because he wore his lucky shirt!

If only I could be this skinny....

Well, I might not want to be this skinny but our little bubba is super skinny. My heck, he is 5 years old and he still wears 2T underoos! They fit his little behind so cute! Anyway, I have this little bucket that I like to put ice in when we have little get togethers and Hayden decided he wanted to sit in and watch TV. He is so silly! This bucket isn't very big but neither his little bum!

Wild and Crazy Bryn!

This girl has some wild and crazy hair! Especially first thing in the morning. It cracks me up every morning when I go into her room and she is standing up in her crib with this huge smile on her face with this wild and crazy hair!

Brynlee's hair is getting so long I just don't know what to do with it. I can't put cute little clippies in it anymore, obviously. She thinks they taste good! She doesn't leave headbands in for very long either. A lot of people have been telling me that I need to cut her hair so she has bangs. But I just don't want her to have bangs. I never had bangs and I don't want her to right now either. I will however get her hair trimmed and very soon. It almost looks like her hair has already been cut into a little bob. It's cute but I think she is ready for her first little hair cut (trim)!

Here is a little hair do that Bryn wears often since her Mommy is scared to put cute clippies and bows in her hair. Hopefully she will get out of this eating everything stage real soon!

Warning.....May Be A Choking Hazard

And this cute little barrette is the culprit-

Who would have thought that my little princess would take this cute little barrette out of her hair in a matter of moments and try eating it. Well, she did and it was the most scariest thing I have been through as a Mom.

It was just another typical rush around morning trying to get out of the door to get to work. This particular morning it was snowing so I called my most favorite most caring and giving Aunt ever and asked if Brynlee could come to her house that day instead of sweet Grandma Deni who lives in West Jordan. And of course my Aunt was more than happy to have Brynlee, thank goodness!!

As we were rushing out I grabbed this little barrette to pull Brynlee's hair back out of her eyes. And out the door we went. The drive was short since my Aunt just lives about a mile away, Thank Goodness! (AGAIN)

Once we arrived I got Brynlee out of the car and her blanket was over her car seat so I didn't take a look at her as I was trying to hurry because it was a blizzard. As I was walking into the house I could hear her like coughing so once we got inside I set her car seat down on the floor an lifted her blanket. I was saying to my Aunt that I think she is choking as I stood there watching her. My Aunt came right over and Brynlee started throwing up horribly. My Aunt hollered to get her out of her seat and I noticed she was throwing up blood. My Aunt began calling 911 and she said to me to see if she has anything in her mouth. I kept thinking what the heck could be choking on. I didn't give her anything before we left the house. It never crossed my mind that it could be her barrette. I never even noticed it was gone out of her hair.

I put my finger in her mouth and felt something really far back and realized it was that dang barrette. So I reached in again and pulled it out covered in blood and flem. The paramedics still came even though I was able to get it out. Because if the blood we wanted to make sure everything was OK.

It seemed that as all of this was happening my Aunt and I were pretty calm. While we were waiting for the paramedics to come I was getting Brynlee out of her wet clothes and that's when things started to settle in my mind. It scared me half to death and it just took a moment for it all to sink in!

The medics came and checked Brynlee out and fortunately she was just fine! Her throat of course would be super sore for awhile but that didn't seem to last too long. I still can't believe this happened. The rest of the day I couldn't quit thinking about how lucky we were and going through the what if's. It still just scares me to death to think of these. We are just so very fortunate!

Here are Brynlee's Hero's for the day! Of course the whole squad was sent to save our little princess. So many big guys for such a tiny little girl!

This is a picture my Aunt sent me later on in the day. It sure helped me get through the rest of my day and brought a smile to my face knowing she was happy and having fun with our very favorite Auntie!. (Yes, I went to work after this whole ordeal. Don't ask me how!)

Brynlee....10 Months Old

Time goes by so fast that I can barely keep up on these monthly postings I do for Brynlee. She is growing and changing like mad and I wished I could keep up on every little detail. But the crazy busy Mom that I am I do what I can to remember all these big milestones in my mind in hopes that I don’t forget. So far I have been pretty good but I wished I could just be video taping every single minute. Now that’s not practical but I sure try my best to catch the most important moments.

New Things About Bryn……..

She loves dancing! She has a little toy radio and it plays nursery rhymes that she love to play with. As soon as she hers music, any music, she dances! So cute! I think she go that from her Auntie Debbie, who loves to dance with Brynlee.

Brynlee loves bath time! She cried for the very first time when it was time to get out. Brynlee actually likes to take showers with her Mom and Dad too. She is just our little water baby! She must get that from her Mommy and Grandma who love the water!

Look how long her hair is getting!

Brynlee is moving on out of her 9 month clothes and moving into 12 months. Holy smokes!! She still just seems too little! But she is getting little rolly polly ollies on her little legs and her tummy. It's adorable!

I decided that it is time to change Brynlee’s earrings for the first time. It was a three man job to get it done but it’s done and she is now our sparkling little princess with her diamonds that her Grandpa bought when she was born. Grandpa has been waiting patiently for her to start wearing her first special pair of earrings that he gave his most special little princess.

And finally……. She has her first tooth!!! It’s just barely poking through on the bottom but we can feel it and hear it clanking against a glass when we give her a drink. So cute!!!

Sweet as Pie!!

This is a funny pic of Bryn! She was never a Binky girl (such a bitter sweet thing for her Mommy) but I found one of the few Binky's I had bought before she was born. I gave it to her to see what she would do with it. She put it in her mouth but not to suck. She was kind of like chewing on it with her little gummies. It's funny to see her with an actual Binky in her mouth since she never took one before. Maybe it's like a teether for her?!
