Princess Brynlee's New Room!!

After many many requests I thought I had better post some pics of Brynlee's bedroom. We are still not completely done with it but it is just perfect for now! I was having the hardest time finding the perfect crib bedding set. I actually thought that I needed an entire new furniture set because all the bedding I had picked out would look better if we had a back furniture. That is actually the image I had in my mind all along. However, a little bit of some sense talked into me from my hubby made me realize that it was not necessary. The furniture that we had bought for Hayden was still practically brand new so I had to find something that went with that. And after searching and searching I finally did!

I then had another image in mind about what I wanted to hang on her wall above her crib. My parents and hubby just love when I get these crazy ideas! I know what I want but how to make it happen is a mystery! So I am always involving them and it turns into a group project and always ends up turning out! Nate never thought he would be doing crafts but dang he is so good at it!!

So here is the finished product! Nate says it looks like a big scoop of Neapolitan ice cream and you know it kind of does! I was worried at first about paint choices but it has grown on me and I love it!!

It is just perfect for our little princess!!

Sleep Over Time!

Hayden and Landen have been in a "can we have a sleep over" mode! For some reason Landen loves to come to our house and the boy's get along so good when they are here. Probably because Hayden can be the boss and Landen let's him. Poor Landen! Anyway, I thought it would be fun to let the boys take a bubble bath in the big bath tub! They thought it was great for about 5 minutes until Landen wanted the bubbles wiped off of him. He was getting up set because he couldn't see the transformers that were burried deep in the bubbles! So after filling up the big tub we had to drain and get all the bubbles out to refill it. After that Landen was much happier. I then let them each pick what jammies they wanted to wear. They picked the two pair of christmas jammies that Hayden has. Silly boys! We then had happy meals and watched a movie!

We love Landen to come hang out with us! Can't wait for our next sleep over!

Panguitch Lake-Winter 2010

Over the long Martin Luther King Jr. weekend we were able to go to Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Frank's cabin at Panguitch Lake. We don't get there as often as we used or as we would like these days but when we do we do have alot of fun! We always try to meet our family from Mesquite there. It gives us a chance to see them without either of us travelling the full distance to either SLC or Mesquite. It is a nice get away for all of us!

I was fortunate enough to have the O.K. from my Doc to head to the cabin as long as I wasn't doing anything crazy while I was there. We don't get too crazy so I wasn't too worried about it. The only thing was I wasn't able to go on the lake ice fishing with the fam. That's ok though, I bundled up Hayden and off he went to meet is daddy on the lake. From the pics that were taken it looks like everyone had a great time!

AAWWW!! Sisters!

Baby Update!

Today was a great baby news day! I am so excited and relieved at the same time! I am now 27.5 weeks so in two more days I am out of the danger zone! I had a cervical length check today and it was measuring great at 3.7. I know this might not make any sense to some of you so in others words it is right where it should be! There are no signs of any preterm labor happening and to top it all off our little princess is growing perfectly. I have requested the same ultra sound tech each time that we have gone in cause she makes me feel so comfortable and she is super nice. Besides that she is so obsessed with our little girl that she spends quite along time playing around with her to get her to show us her pretty face. She doesn’t need to do spend this extra time with us but she is so nice and she always likes to check on her to see how she is doing. Brynlee likes to hide her face from us! And it’s not easy to see her as it is because my placenta has attached itself to the front of my stomach. One thing we did see was that she already has a lot of hair! Oh I am so excited to put little bows in that beautiful dark hair of hers! I am sure she will have plenty just like her Mommy, Daddy, and her big Brother did when they were born!

8 more weeks and counting until the removal of the cerclage and we will see when our little bundle will decide to join us!

It's a Pirate Party!

For Hayden's 4th birthday I decided to have a Pirate Party for him. Notice how I mentioned "I" decided. I figure this was the last year I could get away with planning the cutesie fun birthday party. Hayden likes pirates and all so I just persuaded him a bit to make it sound super cool! And of course he thought it was!!

We sent out his little invitations that I found that were messages in a bottle with real sand in them. They were super cute! I think that is what sold me on the whole Pirate Party idea. We had 5 little boys including Hayden come to his party and we all had tons of fun. We ate pizza, played pirate ring toss and earned gold coins and at our house everyone is a winner so they all won dart guns! Then we opened presents and had cake and ice cream.

Hayden was very spoiled as usual and had a great time at his all day birthday party with his family and friends!

Loftin even came dressed for the party!

It was a Transformer Birthday! Maybe we should have had a Transformer party like Landen did!

Happy Birthday Buddy! We Love You!!

26 Weeks Down!

I finally got around to taking another dreadful photo of myself. It has only been about 14 weeks since my last one. We are getting pretty excited with less than 10 weeks to go until they remove the stitch and this baby girl can come into this world anytime after that. It sure has helped having Hayden around and also the holidays coming around to help the time go by fast. I am so glad that I made with through all the holidays without any bed rest. I am trying to stay positive thinking and am hoping and praying that we make it all the way with no complications or bed rest. So far so good!! We will be going in for another ultrasound next week so hopefully things are still where they should be. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Happy New Year!!

This year to ring in the new year we decided to keep it low key and spend it with my family, The Dimick/Peterson Family party of 8!! (soon to be 9!!) Instead of having our annual pj party with friends and family we decided to go to dinner and then come home and play games as a family.

We had a nice early dinner at the Olive Garden and headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's for ice cream sundaes and some game playing. We played the Wii, Leapster, and Spongebob Operation. It was a mellow evening and of course we never do make it to actually ring in the new year but that's ok!!

I guess New Years is not a big deal these days. It seems as though people just don't make a big deal of it anymore. Which I completely understand now that we are a Mommy and Daddy. I couldn't imagine not spending this time with Hayden as a family ringing in the new year. We had asked some friends and family to come and celebrate this holiday with us but it seems everyone had some sort of excuse as to why they couldn't come. I guess we are too boring and playing Spongebob is not their idea of a good time! It sure is funny how life changes and your priorities are completely different from years past. There is never a quiet dull moment at the Dimick's! But for some reason this is how we like it! It's music to our ears! And to think we will be adding another one to the chaos very soon!

Hope everyone had a happy new years eve and has a great 2010!!

HaPpY bIrThDaY hAyDeN!

I can't believe that our little man has turned the big "4"! Where has the time gone?!

On his big day, we had to work so after we asked Hayden where he wanteed to go to dinner and of course he chose Mcdonalds. So once again, Dimick Family party of 8 went to Mcdonalds. Well, I guess it was only 7 since uncle Shaun had to work. That morning I had told Hayden Happy Birthday and he said it wasn't his birthday because there was nobody here and there was no decorations. I told him that is because his birthday party wasn't until the weekend but it is still his birthday. I felt bad so when we went to Mcdonalds I had stopped and got him some balloons and cupcakes. He was as happy as could be!

Afterwards we took Hayden to Toys R Us. We had something to exchange there so we let Hayden pick something else out. Of course he chose another crane. He had mentioned that he wanted to guy another garbage truck. I don't think they make any other garbage trucks that we don't already have. Thank Goodness!!

At Toys R Us we mentioned that it was Hayden's birthday and so they gave him a birthday crown and balloon and sang to hin over the intercom. Hayden got so embarassed. He was saying to the girl to stop singing. Such a funny boy!

Happy 4th Birthday Hayden! I hope you had a great day! You are our special little man and we are so thankful you were sent to us to be a part of our family. We are the luckiest Mommy and Daddy ever!!

Stay tuned for the big birthday bash!
