Daddy DayCare
The kiddos stayed home with Daddy today and Nate actually attempted to do Bryns hair. First time ever that he has even thought of doing such a thing. Turned out pretty good!!

Go Go
This is how my baby girl sleeps. Her jammies unzipped and the sleeves pulled up. Why you ask?! Because she wants me to go go aka tickle! She falls asleep every night to a go go. She loves to be tickled! She is definitely my little girl!

Brynlee....18 Months
Gee how the time keeps flying by! Brynlee is now 18 months old and is learning more and more everyday. It's amazing how big she is getting and how much she understands everything we are saying. She is a smart and SASSY little stinker!!
Here is a list of the new things about Bryn-
Brynlee is Perfect! Of course we already knew that but Dr Kelly assured of this at her 18 month check up! She weighs 21.7 lbs and is 32 inches tall. Dr Kelly says she is tall and slender. Don't ask me where she gets that from because her Mom is tall and chunky!
Her favorite TV show is Super Why on PBS kids. She also likes Mickey Mouse Club House on Disney.
Brynlee loves to sing and dance! Music and dancing always catches her attention. It makes her so smiley and happy!
Bryn is my noodle eating machine. Any thing pasta she will eat. In fact, that's all she will eat.
She loves Popsicles, popcorn, and suckers.
She is starting to talk up a storm. Her favorite words are Mommy and No. Of course!!! She loves to count. If I say one, she says two, I say three, and she says Go! It's so cute! She will try and repeat almost anything we say to her. Oh boy, we are in trouble now!
She loves to be outside running and trying to ride on Bubba's big bike and scooter.
Brynlee loves her Bubba!! They always don't get along the best but all she really wants to do is follow him around and do what he is doing. Hayden doesn't always like her hanging around though. But he is so good to help out with her and play with her.
She's got the look!! Oh boy does she ever! If looks could kill we would be in trouble! She gives dirty looks and all we can do is laugh. She is so good with those big eyes of hers. When she is being silly or doing something she knows she is not supposed to she will look at us out of the corner of her eyes. It just cracks me up!
She is our little tickle bug! She LOVES to be tickled! Especially when she is tired. She will pull up her shirt and want you to tickle her belly or back. Then she will move your hand and put it on her leg or arm. She even likes her feet tickled. She is just like her Mommy!
Potty Training is right around the corner! I bought her a princess potty for our house, Aunt Debbie's house, and Grandma Deni's house so that when she was ready we would be prepared. Aunt Debbie tries to have her go potty on her princess potty all the time but she never will. Until recently. She went potty in it for the first time a few weeks ago. I don't think she is fully ready to be on board with this big girl potty thing but she sure knows what it is all about.

18 Months! Splish Splash!
Our kiddo's love to bath! They LOVE the water! Hayden thinks it's funny when we poke up Brynlee's hair like Alfalfa from The Little Rascals. He laughs his little behind off and Brynlee just goes with flow and laughs too now knowing what we are laughing at.
Alfalfa or not she is still the cutest thing I have ever seen!!
A Note Sent Home From Teacher!
I was a little shocked when we received a letter from Hayden's Teacher but it was a good note not a "in trouble" note. We also had our first parent teacher conference and it went fantastic!! Hayden is a smart little whip! He is doing great! We are so proud of him! Good job Bubba!!

First Day of Kindergarten!
My Little Bubba started big boy school, Kindergarten! I can NOT believe it! It's such a bitter sweet moment in my life. But oh how Hayden is excited to go to school everyday! He always tells me how much he loves kindergarten. I will be sure to remind him of this time in his life because I am sure he will not always feel this way about school!
I thought we would both have a tuff time on the first day of school but turned out just perfect! Hayden was not too nervous or shy and I wasn't the blubbering freak of Mommy that I thought I was going to be. I was too proud!
I am proud of my son everyday as I take him to school and he wants to stay with me until the bell rings and hold my hand instead of running and playing with the other kids and there is no whining and crying about actually going to school. It makes me so happy that he wants to give me millions of hugs and kisses once the bell rings before he walks into class. I am going to savor every moment I have like this because I know that one say this will all come to an end. But I will be sure to remind Hayden of this as well!!

Bubba & Sisterly Love
Last night I over heard Hayden getting Bryn up on the coach and covering her up with her "B" (her blanky) so they could watch Phineas & Ferb. Hayden sure acts like a toughy but he is so sweet when no one is watching. Just like his Dad!

End of Summer Fun!
Before summer ended we decided to take the kids to Gateway to have lunch and play in the water with our little buddies Trevor and Loftin. The kids loved it, even Brynlee!! She walked around there like she was some big stuff!
Trevor was not wanting to get wet. But Hayden sure wanted him to.

Alexis Sheree...
On August 4th I became a new Auntie to Alexis Sheree....who is named after me!! Big Smiles!!!
She looks exactly like Landen but of course with a girly twist! She is adorable with her chubby little cheeks. She looks like Jenna! I don't know how more perfect and complete the Dimick family could be! Shaun and I both have a son and a daughter. The boys are the same exact age and the girls are a year apart. Just perfect!! We are so blessed to have these perfect little angels in our lives!

Nursemaid's Elbow?!?
I had never heard of this......so I thought! Brynlee has Nursemaid's Elbow. Such a fluke type thing but here is the story.
Sunday afternoon Nate and I had left the kids at my parents so that we could go grocery shopping. Just as we got back Brynlee was crying in the back yard and I just thought it was her being a little stinker and not getting her own way. Well, that's what it all started out to be but she was crying because she was hurt. My Mom, Jenna my sister in law, and Shaun my brother, were all in the back yard with the kids when Bryn started throwing a tantrum over something and he had a hold of her hands/arms pulling her up so that she wouldn't throw herself down on the cement and hit her head. All the while Bryn is pulling away from him making this whole situation even worse. I got there kind of in the middle of all of this and my Mom said she is acting like her arm hurts. So I picked her up and held her and she did have a different kind of cry/whine so I felt like something was wrong. She kept holding up her left arm. I lifted it up and bent it and felt all around and she just kept somewhat crying/whining. So we went inside to settle her down and see if she would use her arm at all. She settled down but something still wasn't right and it didn't seem as though that she was using her left arm. So we headed to the Magna Clinic to have an x-ray done. I thought we would start there just in case maybe she just pulled a muscle or something rather than go to the emergency room and pay a grundle and I am glad we did.
The Doctor looked at her and asked what happened as though maybe we were the ones to hurt our sweet baby. That was kind of disturbing to us but I understand why they do it and I am glad they do. Once he heard the story he checked out Bryn's arm by doing the things I had been doing, lifting and bending. then he turned her arm so the palm of her hand was facing up and that's when Bryn started screaming. He then said, "just what I thought". While he was telling us what was happening with her arm he was fixing it and we didn't even know it. She has what is called Nursemaid's Elbow.
Nursemaid's Elbow is a pulled elbow. There is a ligament that keeps the two bones of the forearm in the correct place and this ligament was torn. When this ligament is torn, a part of it slides upward and gets trapped in the elbow joint. This is very painful! Luckily, it is a very easy fix. The doctor can pop the ligament back into place. However, once the elbow has been injured, it is more likely that it will happen again in the future.
My cousins little girl who is 4 has the same thing. We had been told about her incidents and thought what a strange thing it was. I had no idea that it was called Nursemaid's Elbow and I never imagined that that's what it was that Brynlee has. They have told us how painful it is for their little girl when this happens to her and now I know firs hand. I feel terrible! I hate to see my baby in so much pain. But at least now we know and we can be extra extra careful with her.

Summer Camping Fun!
We spent a lot of the summer camping this year. Who wouldn't when you have one of these things?
This is the newest edition to the Peterson Family! A 2011 Cyclone Toy Hauler. It's our home away from home. I hate to say it but this thing is nicer than our real home! We have enjoyed camping in it this season and are sad that it is over now until next year. I guess it doesn't have to be though. Just because snow is just around the corner doesn't mean we can't go camping! Our first trip out was memorial weekend and guess what....it snowed!! It was a little crazy with all the wet and mud and here we are in this brand new home on wheels. A little nerve racking for me but I had to keep reminding myself that this is why we bought it, to camp!! With my husband that means rain or shine...... or snow! After all this is what we enjoy doing and think it's great that we have decided to raise our family doing what we love. Here are a some pics of our 2011 camping season which we spent mostly at Strawberry Reservoir and out in the desert in Vernon.
