Happy Birthday America

This year for the 4th of July we spent the day doing our usual fun festivities which consists of the Magna parade at Grandpa Rock's house followed by a yummy BBQ with family and friends. This year we were thrown a cute Cyprus Pirates football t shirt during the parade and it's the perfect size for Hayden. So cute! He is our future little Cyprus Pirate just like his Mommy was!!

Brynlee was infatuated with all the excitment the parade brought. She didn't move off my lap the entire parade. And she figured out fast what was being thrown out to us by the people walking by us, CANDY!!!!

After Grandpa Rock's, we went to my parents where we had our good friends, the Starley Family, over for a BBQ and fireworks. We had a little pool set up and Hayden's bounce house for the kids to play. Fun times were had by all!!

I have to say there is nothing like a good ol' fashion Magna 4th of July! That is the way I remember things as I was growing up and I hope that it is what my kids also remember as they get older.

Daddy's friend Dave rode his horse in the parade and came over to Grandpa Rock's afterward so the kids could take a ride. Landen loved it! Hayden wouldn't try it and Brynlee.......
