Happy Easter!

Another great warm Easter Sunday! We stayed home from camping and celebrated Easter with family this year and the Easter Bunny still found us and brought presents and treats!



Granny spent the day before Easter with us coloring eggs and decorating Grandma's yummy sugar cookies!  WE love our Granny!!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Bryn!

Our little (BIG) girl turned 3!! To celebrate her big day we had a Cowgirl Party! Bryn thinks she is a cowgirl so to match her cute new cowgirl boots that Santa brought I got her a girly cowgirl outfit! She is a little hamski with all of her many silly faces!

I'm not sure why, but I feel that the cake is one of the most important things for a birthday party!  It has to be over the top cute!  Not just a store or homemade cake!  While my kids are little I feel like I can get away with things like this and her outfit cause I get to pick it!  Not too many years of this cutesy stuff so I gotta to do while I can!

On her actual birthday Mommy took her to get her very first mannie peddie!  So much fun!  Such a big girl!  Of course she chose the color pink!

And her favorite present from Mommy and Daddy!  Her big girl scooter like her Bubba's!

She even picked out her own cake so that we could sing Happy Birthday to her.  Monster High!  She didn't even know what Monster High was, yet......  Maybe next year she will if they are still around!

Little Stinker!

Look at this little stinker!  Her Daddy got this nice new HUGE hunting back pack for his birthday and she just had to try it on. She has an obsession with "pack packs" as she calls them.  This thing was as big as she was and she thought it was so cool that she was able to have it in her back. 

Bowling Fun!

The winter blues had us down so we decided to get out of the house and go bowling!  The kids love to bowl!

Sneaky Little Leprachauns

Another ST Patty's day trying to catch us one of those sneaky little Leprachauns! The kids had a great time using their imanginations for coming up with ways to trap one. As usual we didn't have much luck but those sneaky little buggers did leave behind gold coins and green pop rocks!


The Leprachaun trap!  Hayden thought the Leprachaun might be enticed by fruit loops so he spread them around the trap!

The next morning we woke to little green foot prints going up the trap and all of the fruit loops were gone!

And the little surprises they left for us!

Daddy's idea was to use a real mouse trap and bait it with a fruit loop since Hayden says thats what Leprachauns like to eat!

The little guys didn't fall for that one!  But they still left a gold coin by it so we knew that they seen it!

Our Paradise

Nate and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary a little early this year and went to the Riviera Maya Mexico!  It was absolutely amazing to say the least!  It had been 7 years since Nate and I had gone on vacation which was the cruise we went on in 2005 with 30 of our closest family and friends.  We didn't know how it was going to be with just Nate and I going this time alone but it turned out that it was just perfect!  In fact, we can't wait to book our next stay with the Secrets Resorts!  It was pure Paradise!! We did alot of nothing!  Nothing but laying in the sun and pool/ocean!  It was just what we both needed!  While there, we got a massage on the beach.  It was Nate's very first massage ever and he loved it!
