Turkey Time!

Grandma found a fun Thanksgiving project for the boys to make. Little Turkeys made from Oreos, candy, and frosting. Not only was it fun to make but yummy too!! We love making yummy projects!!

Hayden didn't know where she was. It was funny watching him try to find her as she was making her cute soft little noises. I hope this is just the beginning of all the fun that our two little miracles with have together!

Brynlee.....7 Months Old

The time is going by so quickly! It all changed what seemed to be overnight!! She's CRAWLING!!!! Not only crawling but now pulling herself up to things. It still seems to be unreal to me! She is still so tiny but she is growing and changing right before my eyes!

More New Things About Bryn.....

It has been bitter sweet moments at the Peterson house this past month. It was time we packed up all of Brynlee's newborn to 3 month clothes. She is now wearing 6 month clothes and some 9 months jammies. Just another reality check of how big she really is getting!! Bye Bye to all the cute tiny little summer outfits and hello to the still little warm cuddly outfits!!

It's also time to take down the bed in Mommy and Daddy's room (not that she ever slept in it anyway!) and actually lower her crib down so she doesn't fall out. My heart just sank when I went into her room in the middle of the night and she was hanging on to the front of the crib and sitting on hers knees with her little head poking over the top. So Daddy lowered it down so now she is in what her Daddy calls her cage!

An update on Brynlee's little cyst on her lip...... At her 6 month check up the doctor checked out the little cyst on her lip that she has had since she was born and the good news is it's not growing. The bad news is that it is still there. The doctor was hoping that it would eventually break up and go away but it has done nothing as of yet. Which is both good and bad I guess. It is too early to medically have it removed so we will just wait it out and hopefully it starts to go away on it's own.

Brynlee has a new nickname, Brynee Bug! I gave her that name to her around Halloween since she was our little Ladybug! Now that it's over with she still remains as our little Brynee Bug!!

Halloween 2010 - Preschool Style!

Hayden had a fun Halloween celebration at preschool this year. They did such a cute program with some cute Halloween songs that Hayden has been singing all month long. In fact, he had the whole family singing the songs!! "I'm a mean old Witch with a hat... And I ride on my broom with my cat..." Those are the words that were mostly hollered out at home as we were playing!! Silly Us!!

The cute Kiddos followed up the singing with a little Halloween parade and some Monster Mashing! It was a cute program that we have enjoyed watching the past two years at Aunt Sand's Preschool and I think that Hayden has enjoyed all the fun Halloween activities he has done there too!! We couldn't have asked for a better Preschool/Teacher.

My little trick or treaters! Bynee Bug and Handsome (scary too!) Knight Hayden!

This was Brynlee's 1st Halloween and she was the cutest little bug ever! Hayden is getting so big. He wanted to be something scary and was picking out some crazy costumes but I figured I still have a little time that I can still persuade him on picking something that I want him to be. I was even going as far as spiderman and crazy characters like that but he wanted nothing to do with them. You know me, I'm not crazy about the whole character thing either. But we had to come up with something, so we, together, decided on this Knight costume. It was kind of scary but still little boy cute! I am afraid this will be my last year that I will be able to persuade him into something cutesy little boyish. After all, he will soon be turning 5!!!

Fall Fun!

We made a trip to Wheeler Farm over the past weekend with our some of our little friends and the kids had so much fun! We went on a wagon ride, went through a corn/hay maze, and picked out our own pumpkins at the end. Fall is so much fun! We love it!!
